Experience
Mee Lian had been in legal practice since completing formal legal training in England. Previously practised in the jurisdictions of Malaysia and Singapore before migrating to Australia in 2002 and continuing in the legal profession. Mee Lian was appointed by the Chief Justice of Victoria as Public Notary on 22 June 2017.

Ran own practices in Malaysia and Singapore and was the in house legal adviser for a renowned Japanese owned department store before migrating to Melbourne.
Throughout her practicing years, Mee Lian has had the opportunity to represent various clients including private individuals; families; small and medium size businesses including sole proprietors; partnerships and incorporated companies; non- profit organizations and finance companies.
This diverse legal practice experience in addition to being fluent in a number of Asian languages gives Mee Lian the ability to understand clients of Asian background and have empathy towards new migrants seeking to establish their homes and businesses in Australia.
Mee Lian has been a registered Migration Agent since 2007 and had assisted many individuals and families relocate to Australia through skills, business, family and work visas.

Mee Lian plays golf regularly and love the game. Like most golfers, at the end of every round, there is always still room for improvement. Besides the weekly rounds at the Yarra Bend GC and Goonawarra GC, Mee Lian and her husband enjoy travelling to different places to play golf and the best so far, were the trips to Austria hitting the balls between the majestic Alps!
